The short version. Park Ministry is a marketplace where parking lot operators sell passes and buyers purchase them. We try to keep the experience honest: no hidden fees, no surprise cancellations, digital passes that actually work at the gate. These Terms spell out the rules for using the service.
01Agreement
By creating an account, buying a parking pass, or listing a lot on Park Ministry (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you're accessing the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Park Ministry.
02What Park Ministry is (and is not)
Park Ministry operates as a platform marketplace that connects parking lot operators ("Operators") with people looking for event parking ("Buyers"). We facilitate the transaction, issue digital passes, and handle payments.
We are not the parking lot, we do not own the spaces, and we do not perform the act of parking you. The Operator is the party responsible for providing the parking space as described in the listing. When disputes arise about what happened at the lot, we mediate — we don't adjudicate physical reality.
03Your account
You can buy passes as a guest or create an account. An account gets you pass history. Either way, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We'll keep transactional records required by law (tax, fraud prevention) but otherwise your data is removed per our Privacy Policy.
04Buying a pass
When you complete checkout, you are forming a direct contract with the Operator of the lot, with Park Ministry acting as the payment processor and pass issuer. The pass is a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to park in the specified lot during the stated check-in window, subject to the Operator's rules posted at the lot.
Each pass is valid for one vehicle and one check-in. Re-using a spent pass will be declined.
05Payment & prices
Prices shown on lot listings are what you pay, plus a small fee from our payment processor. Taxes, where applicable, are itemized on the order summary.
Payments are processed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner. Park Ministry never stores your full card number. Accepted methods are listed at checkout.
If a payment fails after pass issuance (chargeback, bank reversal), the pass is revoked. Email us at support@parkministry.com for instructions to resolve the payment or request a fresh pass.
06Cancellations & refunds
You may cancel a pass for a full refund up to 24 hours before the event start time, unless the listing was sold as final sale (non-refundable) — a choice the operator makes per listing. After that cut-off, the pass is non-refundable except in the circumstances below. Passes bought on another marketplace (for example StubHub or SeatGeek) follow that marketplace's own cancellation policy, not this one.
Event cancelled
If the event is cancelled (by the venue, performer, or promoter), all passes are refunded automatically within 3-5 business days to the original payment method — parking plus tax. You don't need to request it. (Passes bought on another marketplace are refunded by that marketplace.)
Event rescheduled
Your pass moves to the new date automatically and stays valid — there's nothing you need to do. We'll let you know the new date.
Operator failure
If the Operator fails to honor your valid pass (lot is full, closed, incorrectly signed), see Section 7: Park Ministry Guarantee.
07Park Ministry Guarantee
If you arrive at the lot with a valid pass during the stated check-in window and the Operator turns you away, we will:
- Refund 100% of the purchase price within 3-5 business days;
- Investigate the Operator and, where patterns emerge, remove them from the marketplace.
To claim, file a dispute through your Park Ministry account, or support@parkministry.com Email us at support@parkministry.com within 48 hours of the event. Always include a photo of the denied pass at the lot entrance and any other supplementary documentation.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Buy passes with the intent to resell them above face value outside the built-in Share feature;
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically purchase passes without our written permission;
- Circumvent or tamper with the QR-code validation system;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or defraud others;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Park Ministry's systems, or probe them for vulnerabilities without first reaching out to security@parkministry.com.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement.
09Operator obligations
If you list a parking lot on the Service, you additionally agree that you:
- Own, lease, or have written authorization to operate the lot and sell parking passes for it;
- Will honor every valid, unexpired pass presented at the gate during its check-in window;
- Will accurately describe the lot, including capacity, walking distance, accessibility, and any restrictions (height limits, EV-only, residents-only hours, etc.);
- Are responsible for all local permits, insurance, and tax obligations tied to operating the lot;
- Will not oversell capacity or dual-list the same spaces on other platforms in a way that causes conflicts.
Full Operator terms are provided at registration; this section summarizes your core duties.
